Right now Z is trading occasionally with the aim of supplementing his ‘day-job’ income. His current trading strategy means he tries to:
a) trade just one market (the FTSE)
b) make relatively few trades
c) make lower-risk trades
d) not let the sleep-loss caused by his new baby girl trash his judgement
Our fantabulous Six Nations Rugby comeptitions have come to an end.
For reasons of anonymity we aren’t actually listing people’s names. However the lucky ‘new customer’ winner is Jason from Hull. Jason gets tickets to England Vs Ireland on the 15th March along with the travel, hospitality and the works.
Runners up prizes also go to John from Ennis in County Clare and Finlay from Edinburgh.
For our existing customers we asked people to tell us about their funniest / dumbest / silliest trade. There were some very amusing replies. However the outright winner, as much for his bone-grinding honesty as his humour, is Ken. Check out Ken’s answer and the others here.
Ken gets tickets to the Six Nations match between Ireland and England at Twickers on the 15th March. Should be a Paddy’s weekend to remember!
Also, at Simon’s prompting and as a little thank you for baring their souls, we’ve added £30 or €45 to the trading account of everyone who entered. Better than a slap in the face with a wet kipper, huh?
So well done to everyone who won and I hope you are just as lucky in your trading.

Thanks, guys, you’ve made my week. Now to see who can top it and persuade me to take them along
And don’t worry, I’ll be shouting for the boys in green.

Well done ken-All good things come to those who make a hash of it!
Box of Snickers (Marathon’s to you and me) instead of the £85 in the pub quiz tie-breaker I got wrong last night (and a kicking in the car-park for afters from my team mates!)
Well that’s my motto anyhow! Forgot to ask, did you re-instate your short on Rightmove after the figs the other day?
Lower high on my divergence setup, stock consolidating at a round number etc etc.

I haven’t, but it’s tempting. Technicals look good, ie bad, and fundamentally a company in the UK retail property market on this sort of rating is ripe for a sell-off, internet story notwithstanding. Maybe I’ll go back in when it crosses the 20-day MA.
Talking of shorts, what time on the 15th will you guys be sending round the big car with the two “hostesses”? And Shorty can stay at home unless he’s wearing the chauffeur’s cap

Well done Ken.
But did you read the small print about the Paddypower sponsored streak at half time?
March 6th, 2008 at 5:41 pm
Yep, just back from the tattoo parlour, now have a large green shamrock on each buttock. And I want the “hostesses” joining me, each holding a hand (or whatever).
